Room 512, Friday after Cool class

As much as Brooke would have rathered the whole disagreement with Michael to go the easy way, she had to admit she sort of dug this temporary no roommate thing. Mainly because it meant she could have company over, ahem.

After class, she came back to the room, making sure the scrunchie was still there on the outside of the door. Not that she thought Michael would get it if he came back, but it was sort of a universal warning.

"Okay, I'm listening," she said with a nod.

"Thank you," Peter said, as though Brooke had redeemed herself for trying to change the subject. "In which case your hands go on the list."

She held out one hand in front ofher to look at it. "Good call."

"You can tell they're skilled, but still beautiful," Peter said. "I like that."

"I moisturize," she said helpfully, dropping her hand down.

"The effort shows."

"We're halfway there," she said encouragingly.

Peter took a sip of his coffee. "I'd be remiss if I left out a mention of your lips."

"Those should probably be near the top of the list," she added.

"I like the way you think a bit more," Peter pointed out.

"That's why I said near. Not number one, but still, up there."

"I can agree with near," Peter said. "You do have very nice lips."

"They're useful for some things," she said, totally innocently of course.

"I'd say quite a few," Peter replied back in kind.

"You give good inspiration," Peter replied.

Grinning, she asked, "Okay, what next?"

"Next is kind of a demonstration," Peter said.

"Oh?" she said, looking interested.

Peter replied by leaning in to give her a light kiss.
