Grave Guinea Pig, A2- Sunday afternoon

Anyone in Grave Guinea Pig- or with good hearing- might have heard the "KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT!!" coming from Brooke's alcove.

Anyone in Grave Guinea Pig who came by to check on that would find Brooke sitting on an overturned plastic storage container, which was currently trapping a very large, very unhappy snake.

Brooke wouldn't be moving for a while. Maybe ever. She wondered if Fandom had animal control.

Hearing something of a commotion from the other side of the cabin, Dick had to come over. "Everything okay?" he asked.

"Yeah. Fine," Brooke said, her tone clipped as she became paranoid the snake was trying to move her around. "I think I'm living an Illinois Smith movie, but everything's just fine."

"Illinois Smith? Do you have a rare artifact or have you been fighting Nazis?" Dick asked.

"Snakes," she replied, tapping the container with one hand and yelping when she knew that time it moved.

"Ah, that would explain the screaming," Dick said. "So are you planning on just sitting on it all day?"

"It'd be much easier if someone else could like, kill it or make it go away or something," Brooke said, and her tone said clearly that she thought he should be that person.

"How big is it?" Dick asked, taking all of the information into consideration.

She moved her legs so he could see the snake through the clear plastic. It wasn't huge enough to move her, but big enough that she knew when it was trying. It definitely wasn't anything she was taking care of herself.

"It's not that big," said the boy who grew up in a traveling circus. "How attached are you to the container? Is it something you wouldn't mind losing to a snake, or are you going to make me actually risk my life?"

Brooke considered it. "I can afford a new one," she decided.

"Good, because we were going with that option anyway," Dick said. "Get ready to hop off when I tell you to, okay?"

She looked really unsure, but nodded. "Okay," she said, suddenly a little nervous.

Dick put his hands on the container and pushed down. "Okay, you can get up. I'm just going to drag it outside and leave it there."

Brooke frowned at him. "But then it can come back in," she reasoned.

"I'll put a rock on top of the container?" Dick suggested.

"A big rock?" she said hopefully. He could lie. It wasn't like she was leaving the cabin to find out.

"The biggest I can find," Dick lied.

"Okay," she said, and preemptively squealed as she hopped off the container.

Dick pushed down harder on the container to make sure the snake couldn't actually get out yet and started to push it towards the door.

When he got it outside he pushed it out about ten feet from the door before going back inside. "And you're safe."

"Shouldn't we like, lock the door or something?" she wondered.

Yes, Brooke, because snakes can open doors normally.

"It's trapped by a rock," Dick lied. "I don't think it's going to be able to get to the door."

"What if it has family who get all pissed off?"

"I put the container by the next cabin over. The snakes will think that's where he came from," Dick said.

"Oh. Good," she said, much happier now. "Thank you."
